Ivanti appoints Karen Nicholson as Channels Manager as Rose Old is promoted to Director Telco and Carrier Business for ANZ

SYDNEY — 12 October 2021 —

Ivanti, Inc., the automation platform that makes every IT connection smarter and more secure, today announced the appointment of Karen Nicholson as its new Channels Manager for Australia and New Zealand and the promotion of Rose Old to Director Telco and Carrier Business in the region.

In her role, Nicholson will be responsible for maturing the Ivanti partner ecosystem and helping partners scale and self-service, through co-branded marketing campaigns, account targeting, sales and technology enablement, and co-selling. The recruitment of ‘right fit’ partners is also a key component in the overall channel strategy.

Nicholson will also oversee the education of partners about Ivanti's new comprehensive partner program, and the tools now available to them. The program enables them to take specific strategies to market and maximise the growth opportunities across all of Ivanti’s  endpoint management, zero trust security and enterprise service management solutions.

“There's a lot of enthusiasm amongst our partners to build pipeline and generate revenue together,” said Nicholson. “It’s such an exciting time to be joining Ivanti, and I look forward to connecting with our partners and collaborating closely on our plans for growth, profitability, and self-sufficiency.”

Speaking of the appointments, Matthew Lowe, Area Vice President ANZ at Ivanti said, “Having successfully completed the consolidation of Ivanti’s channel programs, we’re now entering a new phase of growth. Karen’s proven expertise in maturing channel programs made her the perfect fit for our ANZ Channels Director role as our priorities shift. I’m thrilled to welcome her to the team.”

Nicholson joins Ivanti with over 20 years of industry experience, most recently as a Partner Sales Manager at Vault Cloud where she was responsible for building and maturing its partner program and network. Prior to this role, she was a Partner Account Manager in the Splunk practice of DNA Connect for over four years.

Nicholson succeeds Rose Old, who will be stepping into the newly created role of Director for Ivanti’s Telco and Carrier business.

“The work we’ve done at Ivanti over the past several years has enabled us take our strategy further and maximise growth opportunities in the telco and carrier space where we are powering the everywhere workplace with secure mobility solutions,” said Old. “As we continue to innovate and launch new solutions like Ivanti Neurons, we can ensure our carrier partners are set up to adapt to market opportunities creating mutual success. I’m excited by the opportunity to place 100% of my focus in this key growth area for Ivanti.”
